Wow! Reservations are handle easily & quickly. They go so far as to remind you with ample time. When you arrive they are exceptionally friendly and make you feel as if YOU are the most important thing in their day. Been there 3 times before and I'll go back again and again.
Often when we visit Vancouver, we stay either around Robson or along central Broadway, so venturing into North Vancouver was a bit of an adventure. We were quite rewarded with our stay at Lonsdale Quay. This relatively small facility is located on top of a food court / restaurant mall in a lovely setting across the bay from downtown Vancouver and adjacent to the Seabus ferry terminal. The room was large, comfortable and clean. It appears to have been recently updated with sensible furnishing. The Keurig single cup coffee maker made the best in-room coffee ever. We will definitely plan to return.
Great location on the waterfront of the North Shore. The Hotel Room was clean and comfortable. Are room was an Executive Room which was on the top floor with a view of the water front and the Vancouver Skyline which was very nice in the nighttime. There was a pay for option for breakfast which was a good value for its cost. Parking was close but was pay for use as well. The hotel is close to public transit so we parked the car for the weekend and used the Sea Bus and Sky Train.
We didn't know what to expect but the hotel was perfectly placed next to the ferry that takes you into downtown Vancouver. The room had everything you would expect in 5 star hotel. The rooms decor was modern n new. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vancouver. Even had a laundromat w free soap, and since we'd been driving from Calgary n visiting Banff n Lake Louise and we're going to continue to B.C. This was perfect.
We like to stay at the Lonsdale Quay Hotel, because it is close to everything we like to do in North Vancouver and is right at the Seabus station for trips into downtown Vancouver. Also, with the LQ Market right downstairs, it is easy to get good snacks or sit and have a coffee and look out at the view!...
My adult daughter and I went to Vancouver for the weekend to do a little sightseeing. It is above the market and next to the sea bus terminal. It had a beautiful view of the water. Very nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We went to Tapped. It was within a block. Food was great. Took the sea bus to downtown Vancouver for $9.00 CND rt for both. Had a great time downtown. The hotel was great, safe, and we loved our stay.
